
Select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list. Click Next when the Welcome to the Add Hardware Wizard window shows up. Click Action > Add legacy hardware. If all drivers are up to date but the camera is still missing in Device Manager, you can try adding a camera manually: Open Device Manager. Add a legacy camera driver.

If the camera works in the Camera app, the problem might be with the app you're trying to use.If your camera still doesn’t work, here are some other things to try. If you're asked to allow access to the Camera, select Yes. Select Start , then choose Camera from the list of apps. Waking up your device from sleep isn't the same thing as a restart.Test your camera with the Camera app.
